I have been practising yoga for 10 years. Initially, I learned yoga to counterbalance high intensity physical exercise, this gradually deepened to a more holistic, integrated practice. Then I discovered hot yoga and fell instantly in love! The benefits to body, mind and spirit were so powerful, I found this series provided everything in one dynamic, meditative practice.
Last year I decided to change the direction of my life and certify to teach hot yoga, and trained with Craig Villani at Raja Yoga Academy. After graduating, I travelled in the USA and Asia, and gained teaching experience in California and Thailand before returning to Norwich.
Over the next year, as I develop as a teacher under the guidance of Jen Moss, my aim is to deepen my understanding of the potential of this practice to heal and empower.
Originally from Cambridge, my professional background is in Marketing Communications. I have a strong interest in the arts, and a creative textiles practice.
