Barbara is a British Wheel of Yoga Teacher, Foundation Course Teacher, Coach and Mentor; she has been teaching yoga since 2006 and has been practicing yoga herself for over twenty years. Barbara began her yoga journey fortuitously, stumbling upon a lunchtime yoga class. Barbara remembers vividly the positive effects and enjoyment of that first class and she soon developed a regular yoga and meditation practice. Enjoying a yogic lifestyle, feeling the transformation that yoga brings and inspired by her passion for yoga, Barbara studied to become a yoga teacher.
Barbara’s approach to yoga is open-minded; her teaching is eclectic and diverse and does not focus solely on one style. She believes ‘one style does not fit all’ and her aim is to offer yoga that is accessible to ‘all’. Barbara’s classes and teaching varies according to the level and abilities of students and focuses on “bringing mind, body and breath to your mat, developing self-awareness, self-enquiry, discipline and grace.”
